Accessibility statement
Ardom Desert APV attaches great importance to accessibility and equal rights, including on its website and the information it contains, as part of its social outlook.
Website accessibility
The site was built in line with the Israeli Standard (IS 5568) for web content accessibility at level AA and the international WCAG 2.0 guidelines, so that people with disabilities can browse it comfortably and make the best use of assistive technologies as needed. The adjustments made are listed below:
- The site is written with a semantic structure, standard HTML tags and a clear content hierarchy.
- ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes are built into the site, so that screen-reader users can read, understand and fully use it.
- The site can be operated and navigated with a keyboard, and the navigation (TAB) order matches the visual order of the items.
- Images on the site have ALT (alternative text) tags where needed.
- All font sizes are set in relative units, so text can be enlarged through the browser settings.
- The site respects the user's preference for reduced motion (prefers-reduced-motion) — when it is on, the site's animations are turned off.
- The site does not use colour combinations that may hinder users with colour blindness, and colour alone is never used to convey information.
- The site is adapted for the common browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) and for use on mobile phones.
- The site does not currently offer transcripts or captions for time-based media, in accordance with the exemption under Israeli law. We intend to add captions in the future and will be glad to let our users know.
Much time and effort have gone into making the site accessible. If you come across any accessibility problem, please let us know so we can fix it.
