Kedem Atidim Hackathon

A renewable-energy hackathon for science-minded youth, tackling the agrivoltaic challenge in Israel — in partnership with Kedem Atidim and KKL-JNF.

40 students from across the country took on the challenge of combining agriculture with solar energy production in extreme desert conditions. Over three hands-on days they worked on their projects, which were finally presented to the judging panel.

On their way to the Arava, the participants stopped at Doral's agrivoltaic project at Kibbutz Revadim and at the agrivoltaic project in the southern Arava.
